a bit about me
Hi there, thanks for stopping by! That's me above, floating seemingly effortlessly in the magical place I call 'home', New Zealand. I'm a Kiwi-Brit hybrid, who lives in London. Although come rugby time, you best believe that I'm going to proudly flash my All Blacks jersey!
I'm a marketer, community builder, event organiser, excitable explorer, coffee appreciator, and a lover of the great outdoors. Passionate about the power of community and the outdoors, in 2017 I co-founded Adventure Queens - a UK-based women's adventure community. I'm a 2018 Ordnance Survey #GetOutside Champion - helping inspire Britain to get outside - and a cycling tourist in the making, having completed my first solo trip around Cuba in December 2015 and more recently, the North Coast 500 and the Carretera Austral in Chile.
TRIBES I'M BUILDing
Empowering women to get outdoors
Adventure Queens is the UK fastest growing women’s adventure community. Set up with the aim of helping bring down barriers that prevent women from heading off on adventures, we provide practical information, tips and advice on all things wild camping and the great outdoors, delivered through monthly emails, Facebook group and regular events.
My role: Co-founder with adventurer Anna McNuff, and Community Marketing Leader.
NZ Business Women's Network
Connecting New Zealand women in London
The NZ Business Women's Network aims to provide a strong network of women who are willing to cross-pollinate, inspire and develop businesses, with the power of the kiwi spirit.
My role: I'm part of the mentoring team, that does everything from developing the group themes, sourcing mentors, creating member communications and arranging logistics of the groups.
